A new post has been made that is up-to-date and in front of a green screen. This post is staying up for historical purposes. Please use these photos for my submission, mostly because I geared up in front of a mirror for the green screen ones.

After building this thing for the last 14 months I have decided it is time for the submission. Hopes are up. Fingers are crossed. I am nervous and anxious, especially since working on it so intently every day between August 2022 and March 2023.

We set out to get photos in front a green screen which turned out to be an adventure disaster because the green screen would not stand up and it was a bit wet and pugs were running everywhere. Since we do not have a really “plain wall” in our house I figured doing it outside next to the shed/garage would be fine. I did include one of the green screen

So here they are, the photos. And a couple of outtakes. And a couple of videos. Enjoy.

First, the official front, side, back, side.

Now for the “arms out” photos:

And a few action shots:

Finally, one with the bucket off:

Bucket head no more.

And a couple of videos for your enjoyment:

Rangefinder in action (after I could find it):

Rangefinder in action (once I find the sweet spot)

And a message to the garrison:

Hello, world!

Finally, one from a few days ago with Princess Peanut after I broke the rocket and had to re-set it:

Princess Nuggetron

A very special thanks to my wife for dealing with me while we got these photos 100% correct.

One response to “This is it. This is my submission. Boba Fett ROTJ Hero.”

  1. […] 2022 and March 2023. I am still not finished with it (probably never will be). Also check out the original submission for photos which include a video of me saying stuff with the voice […]
