Halloween did a doozy on the jetpack. When someone tried to give me a hug (don’t; bad idea) the jetpack went crashing to the floor and ended up. Well, see for yourself:

Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground

The great thing about tearing these apart and repainting them is that if (when) they break you have the confidence and know-how to fix it yourself. If someone else builds the whole thing for you well, you’re kinda screwed.

So I set up a table in the back yard and after about an hour it was as good as new. Actually better than new because I reinforced the top hooks on the jetpack. I also wired up the beacon to run through the left fuel tank and into the body of the pack. Removing the left white piece allowed access to it.
